Journalists and media activists from a variety of backgrounds came together to discuss the important role of the media in the fight for truth and democracy. Throughout the week, attendees participated in lively discussions and skills-sharing workshops, focusing on strategies to counter the challenges posed by the capitalist media industry. There was a lively atmosphere as participants exchanged ideas, fostering a strong sense of community.
As a result, new collaborative research projects and future gatherings and summer schools were developed. This summer school deepened our understanding of free, democratic media in the 21st century, reigniting our motivation to seek the truth together.
